Aria Winter Wedding Minneapolis

On the day of Jordan & Daniel’s initial wedding consult I get to my studio only to realize I had forgot the key to my studio.  Great first impression huh? I quickly called and asked if we could meet at Spyhouse coffee just up the road from my studio and they obliged.  Of course, I’m thinking in my head, I’m never going to win this couple over, I can’t even remember my studio keys, HA!  After chatting and apologizing profusely, come to find out, Spyhouse coffee is where Jordan & Daniel reconnected and really was the “start” of their relationship.  Talk about amazing!  None of us could believe that we all ended up there, on that day, talking about their wedding day.  Needless to say, they hired me and the rest is history!

Jordan and Daniel had a gorgeous Aria winter wedding in Minneapolis, MN.  I loved Jordan’s sense of style with her hints of rose gold through out the day, combined with navy and lots of greenery.  Aria itself is a gorgeous venue, but all the greenery and glowing warm candles really made this wedding venue pop!  J&D are not your traditional bride and groom.  They did so many things differently, which made their wedding truly unique.  Instead of a traditional receiving line, the bride and groom served their guests cupcakes after dinner.  It was a great way to connect with all of their friends and family.  Their guests also enjoyed lawn games and dueling pianos for entertainment.  Dancing was optional, ha!

Most of all, I loved capturing the connection of Jordan & Daniel.  All through out the day, Daniel was so caring and present with Jordan.  You could tell that all that mattered in the world was her and it was heartwarming to witness.  This couple is bound together in their strong faith and their families came together to support and lift them up in their new adventure in marriage.  What a blessing it was for me to be just a small part of their amazing day.
