I am just glowing over this St. Paul engagement session with Jaime & Dan at Harriet Island.  We were originally not supposed to start our photos there and honestly were not even 100% sure we were going to hit Harriet Island that night, but I’m telling you, something must have been calling us there.

I arrived there first and noticed the Padelford Riverboats in dock and thought to myself, man I’d love to take some photos down there!  Of course, as soon as Jaime & Dan got there I mentioned it to them.  Lucky for us, one of the boats was just done unloading and we had it to ourselves.  So it was just us, the riverboats and the gorgeous sunset!  Ahhh Heaven!  And I loved the pops of color that came from the bright benches and flower pots on the dock.  Jaime and Dan’s first outfit was just made for photos here and they LOVE all things St. Paul and these boats are so iconically known here.  It was like everything just fell into place for their session.

It was also super fun to get to know Jaime and Dan more during their session.  J you are a girl after my own heart!  I loved laughing and joking with you and Dan, you are a quiet, gentle spirit and I can see the love you have for Jaime and its beautiful.  I cannot wait to capture their spring 2016 wedding.  It’s going to magical, just like the two of you…And now some photo goodness!
