I so often hear photographers grumble about having to shoot so many sessions at St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis, but lately I find myself so happy to shoot there. First of all the light down there in the evening is pretty amazing! Secondly, there is such a variety of locations that really no two sessions look identical. I was very excited when Matt & Molly chose to do their engagement session down there. They live near the area and love to take runs around there so this was the perfect spot for them. We shot their session a little before sunset and I’m giddy over how the photos turned out. I love the light color palate Molly chose for their outfits. It goes perfectly with the beautiful sunset we had and the pastel colors of the cobble stone streets and Minneapolis sky scape. We of course did the iconic photos on the stone arch bridge and then roamed around the streets by the Aster Cafe and Nicollet Island Inn. We really could not have asked for a better day for their engagement photos. So excited to capture their wedding this winter!
