Newborn photos are some of the most precious moments you will capture.  Your baby will never be that tiny ever again and I swear in a blink of an eye your baby is all grown up.  I can attest to that, every day I ask myself how the heck I have a Kindergartener and 2nd grader!  I think that is why I love capturing newborn sessions so much.  It’s like I’m freezing that moment in time that seems the shortest.  Because lets just face it, most moms are in survival mode and no matter how much friends and family tell you to enjoy that time you have with your newborn baby, it’s hard!  I only hope when my clients look back at their newborn photos they will be flooded with all those beautiful moments that sometimes get blocked by sleep depravation:)

If you are looking for the perfect place to host a farm wedding look no further than the Mayowood Stone Barn just an hour south of Minneapolis, in the lovely town of Rochester, Minnesota.  The Carriage way barn is the main barn with gorgeous stone arches stretching across the ceiling and stunning stone bricks create the floor surface.  They are a beautiful light tan color so even on the darkest of rainy days, like at Jess & Ray’s wedding, it still looks bright and airy!  The soft mint and grey paired gorgeously with the interior and exterior of the multiple barns on the property.  Every time you turn the corner at this unique wedding venue there is another amazing spot for your wedding photos!  Here are just a few favorites from J&R’s day!

These boys…  Love capturing them so much!  I’ve been seeing Clay & Nash both since they were newborns and I swear each time they come to my studio they are getting cuter by the minute!  I loved the outfits mom brought too!  The Bro Code shirts are from Little Bean’s Baby Apparel How cute are they!! Loved baby Nash’s outfit from Old Navy too. We had fun capturing his 6 month photos and Clay just decided he wanted in on the action too!  We got to talking trains, and well then, it was like we were BFF’s and the rest is history!
