Jeremy and Maddie had a Rush Creek Golf Course Wedding in Maple Grove, Minnesota this spring.  I had been watching the weather closely the days leading up to their wedding and saw it wasn’t looking good.  The day of, as predicted the weather was rainy and windy, but only love and laughter were shining on their wedding day.  Thankfully Rush Creek has some gorgeous natural lit spots in their venue that I didn’t even flinch the day of the wedding worrying about the weather.  Best of all, Maddie and Jeremy’s priorty was to make the Lord the center of the start of their marriage and that’s exactly what they did!

The ceremony was stunning, as J&M committed to each other in front of family and friends and the warm candles and fragrant flowers around them.  After the ceremony there was a rush of happy emotions, lots of love and tears were shared.  It’s emotions like that I live to capture.  So pure, raw and real.

Below is a glimpse into Maddie & Jeremy’s day, Enjoy!

It’s always fun for me to travel for my job out of my normal Twin Cities area for weddings.  Kinzy & Parker’s wedding took place in southern Minnesota and although I don’t shoot down there too often, I enjoyed being a Mankato Wedding Photographer for the day, HA!

We had a gorgeous June summer day and started out by getting some fun detail shots at the Marriot in Mankato.  It also happens to be where K&P had their awesome wedding reception.  We found some great spots in Mankato for outdoor wedding photos.  I couldn’t have asked for a more fun couple and wedding party!  The day flew by and then we headed to Hosanna Lutheran Church for the ceremony.  If there is one thing I remember about Parker & Kinzy, its their genuine love and care for each other.  These two were so fun and relaxing to be around, before I knew it, it was time to party. Enjoy a peek into their day!

With all the rain we’ve had in the last week I am reminded of Will & Amanda’s Lake Calhoun engagement photos from last summer.  We were so nervous the storm was going to cut their session short, but luckily, it held off just long enough for us to capture an amazing engagement session.  A&W were so fun and natural in front of my camera.  Truly magnetic together.  They definitely didn’t let the impending rain ruin all the fun. I have to say, I’m looking forward to the muggy weather followed by a good ole thunderstorm!  There is nothing that beats the smell of rain in my opinion.  Here are a few favorites from my session with Amanda and Will!

I had so much taking Phin’s 6 month photos in my Minneapolis studio!  I’m pretty convinced that Phin is the happiest baby I know.  This kid came in to the studio totally passed out napping in his carseat and opened his eyes with the cutest little grin on his face.  Talk about Melt my Heart!  I’m not surprised though, because he has the most amazing family and I’ve recently had the opportunity to get to know his momma Hope Plack.  Hope is an amazing fitness and nutrition coach and I learned a lot just chatting with her at Phin’s newborn session and have been working with her the last 8 weeks.  Not only is Hope extremely knowledgeable but she is also so encouraging.  Even during Phin’s session she kept telling him what a good job he was doing.  I have no doubt she is his biggest fan!!  If you want to check out this crazy talented woman, check out her Facebook page {HERE}  And now on to the photo goodness!!
