Hi, I'm Jessica !
People often ask me how I became a Minnesota wedding and portrait photographer. The truth is, I never thought life would lead me in this direction. I went to college, and received a degree in business. I launched into the corporate world, only to realize the so-called ladder wasn't life giving for me. In 2006, I began documenting love and life through the lens of my camera. That year was the beginning of my true calling, a storyteller.
If you hire me to capture your wedding, boudoir or newborn photos you will receive beautiful images, that's a given, but also a life long friend. I strive for the perfect combination of timeless elegance and fresh style through my natural and candid approach to storytelling.
My life is made full with my faith and family. Without these two things, I am nothing. In my spare time, you'll likely find me on a new travel adventure, usually on a beach somewhere. I also love hanging at home with my family and our fur kids. Sundays are for homemade pizza, while drinking my favorite glass of wine! I'm a hopeless romantic and love binging a good rom-com on Netflix. It's almost a guarantee you will find me tearing up at some point during your wedding, because it just never gets old for me. Last week I had the privilege to photograph Madeline and Aaron at Lake Superior. This week, I get to go explore Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. I will be out of the office 8/7-8/10. Soaking up these last few days of summer with my family before back to school! Can`t wait for M&A`s wedding next August in Duluth!

I`m back!! I spent an amazing 2 weeks in Europe visiting multiple cities! Rome, Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Venice & Paris. What an unforgettable adventure I had with my family. So many memories made and thousands of photos captured! I`m slowly working my way through my inbox and getting back into the swing of things. I`m looking forward to the second half of my season capturing your special moments!

Not sure how my baby grew up to be an adult, but here we are! She turns 18 this fall and in just 3 more sleeps, we will board a plane with her sister and dad to explore Italy & France.
