I have been waiting to share this session with you guys forever on the blog! Val is one of my long time clients and I wanted to go BIG for her maternity photos for baby #2. I had this crazy idea that we should do a Bohemian Maternity Session. We were cruising pinterest and found some great ideas for inspiration for her outfit. Val ended up finding this adorable crochet dress at H&M. Being it was a maternity session and we wanted to highlight her adorable baby belly, we decided to do just a bra and panties underneath the dress.
I also convinced her to do this gorgeous flower crown made by my friend Jessica Leopold who does fun flower projects on the side occasionally from her day job. When I picked up the floral crown I was blown out of the water by its gorgeousness! To top it off, it rained on the original day were supposed to do pictures and it still looked perfect the next day!
Our session setting was a beautiful creek nestled in the twin cities. Such a hidden gem this spot is! It reminds me of Colorado, minus the mountains of course, ha ha! Something about the water rushing over the rocks and the lush green trees really brought this session to life!
