Diamond Oak Events Wedding | Clear Lake, IA

Kelsey & Gordie had a heartfelt wedding at Diamond Oaks Events in Clear Lake, Iowa, which is just about 2 hours south of Minneapolis. This beautiful White Barn Wedding venue is what dreams are made of. The property has a magical feel to it with ample lush green areas made up of oak trees. The outdoor ceremony space is a lovely secluded spot on the property. We ended up not being able to do the ceremony outdoors due to rain, but thankfully the barn had a lovely area inside for an indoor ceremony.

Huge thanks to Beth at Kismet Event Group, she and her team did a spectacular job with the decor and planning of this wedding. I always love working with planners because they make the day go so smoothly and it allows for the bride and groom to truly let go of all tasks to enjoy their very important day!

Although the rain prevented the outdoor ceremony from happening, we made sure to get lots of gorgeous images under their Magnolia leaf and Hydrangea ceremony arch!

Such a beautiful White Barn Wedding venue! I could shoot here every weekend and not get bored!

I loved that Kelsey included Magnolia leaves all throughout her wedding decor. So timeless!

How sweet is there First Look!

Kelsey and Gordie didn’t have a traditional wedding party, instead they had their nieces and nephews and some family in their wedding colors. They opted to go with a more relaxed family style approach to their photos vs traditional wedding party pictures and I loved the results! Family was #1 for them and we captured just that!

This moment between Kelsey and her dad was so special!

The inside of the barn provided a beautiful dry ceremony option!

How beautiful is this memory tree! I just love the look of the wreaths around the picture frames!

We made sure to get lots of beautiful photos by K&G’s ceremony arch. I love the pop of the magnolia leaves and florals against the white draping. It made for such a gorgeous backdrop!
