Hold on to your socks because they are about be knocked off by this Minneapolis Wedding ! Emily and Andy had their wedding Ceremony at the Loring Pasta Bar and their reception was at the Varsity Theater right next door. The irony of this whole story, is that I was not even supposed to be their wedding photographer. I got a frantic message from another photographer that her dear friends were in need of a Minneapolis wedding photographer less than a week before their big day. It happen to be the one date in June I was open! Just three days before their wedding I met Emily & Andy and after meeting them in person, I could just see the amazing people they were. I couldn’t wait to capture their wedding day and I truly believe that fate brought us together!
So I apologize in advance because this post is astronomically large. I literally couldn’t narrow down the photos. Emily is a super fabulous fashion blogger and by day works for L’Oreal. So combine these two aspects of her life and you have one heck of a gorgeous wedding! Emily & Andy’s wedding was day was something straight out of an Anthropology wedding spread! Her gorgeous wedding dress, headpiece and veil were from Beholden. Check out those hand painted petals on her veil! They were to die for!
The bold florals tied this Bohemian wedding all together. I loved the use of wild greenery and touches of color from the Japanese Peonies. The flowers were a beautiful collaboration of Masha Hansen of Limoni Limoni and Abbie Fox of Red Fox Floral. These women outdid themselves!
What touched me the most was that Emily’s mother learned how to do calligraphy just for the wedding. She hand addressed all the wedding invitations and place cards and they were absolutely stunning. Way to go Mom!!
Okay enough of me blabbing, on to the gorgeous day. I am so blessed to do what I love and have the opportunity to get to know amazing people like Emily & Andy, congrats to you both!
