I’m still playing catch up on some of the fabulous weddings from 2016. Today I’m going to share Mike & Emily’s gorgeous Mill City Museum Wedding in Minneapolis. Mike & Emily live and love Minneapolis. It was only fitting they had their wedding at this gorgeous industrial venue that overlooks the banks of the Mississippi River.
I was so excited when I chatted with Mike and Emily about their wedding theme. They are both avid animal lovers and Emily is a part of the board at the MN Zoo. They revealed to me their theme was party animals! I’m sure everyone’s first thought is some crazy party, but Lasting Impressions Wedding planners brought a whole new level of elegance to that title.
Guests were entertained by the zoo mobile during cocktail hour, and the kids had their own animal themed stir sticks for their kiddy cocktails! The reception decor was a stunning combination of golds, navy and pinks, with all your favorite zoo animals delightfully golden! Even the place card holders had a special animal flare to them. It was definitely a unique and fun wedding capture!
