Erik & Kristi hired me to capture their engagement photos in Minneapolis since their wedding photographer is currently living out of state right now. I was so honored to spend two hours roaming the beautiful city we live in. Erik and Kristi will be having their wedding reception in the gorgeous Loring Park, so it was only fitting we grabbed a few photos there too! We started off in the most adorable little alley by Cafe Lurcat. I absolutely love shooting here, as it reminds me of the alleys you would see in Europe! Then we headed over to the Walker Sculpture Gardens to the iconic Spoon & Cherry exhibit. This is where Erik popped the question to Kristi! It was so cute Kristi pointed out exactly where Erik asked her to marry her and I felt like I got to relive the moment with them. We had the most gorgeous night, as you can see, the lighting was perfect. We ended the evening heading back to Loring Park where we had parked our cars. The street we were parked on had the most amazing views of the Minneapolis skyline. So of course, between cars and bicyclists, I had these two crazy kids out in the street posing for me. We ended our session the coolest fountain in Loring Park. Kristi said in the last four years that she’s known of the fountain, she’s never see it actually on! So I guess tonight was our lucky night and it was fate for us to capture some pictures there. Congratulations Erik & Kristi! I feel honored to have captured your engagement pictures.
