Erin and Trey are transplants from the south! So you can imagine how happy they were when we had a relatively “mild” weather on their November 30th wedding day! I had so much fun with their family… such sweet southern hospitality and I loved learning all about the cattle farming Trey’s family does! We started our day getting ready in the bridal suite at The Depot in Minneapolis. I love when brides book beautiful rooms for their getting ready photos. It really makes a difference! Especially in the winter when you are limited with what you can do outside for detail photos! My favorite detail photo is the generational ring shot, such an heirloom. I caught the cutest moment when Russell from Wisteria Design Studio brought Erin her bouquet to see it for the first time. I’ve worked with Russell quite a bit over the years and I just LOVE that he does this! I always try to capture the moment if I’m there to witness it! We spent the afternoon capturing photos at the Mill City Museum, their reception location before heading over to the Basilica of St. Mary for the ceremony. I never get tired of photographing weddings at the Basilica! It’s gorgeous inside and out! I hope you enjoy a sneak peek into Erin & Trey’s day!
