Okay guys today we’re going way back to October 2015 to Emma & Andre’s Minnesota Boat Club wedding. First I want to say thank you so much to Andre for serving our country in the United States Air Force! While Emma & Andre were planning their wedding they were stationed in Hawaii. My parents go to Hawaii every other year for 8 weeks so I’m very familiar with the weather there. Basically it’s 80’s everyday of the week, perfection right? Well, here in Minnesota, many of you know, our weather can be quite unpredictable at times. On E&A’s fall wedding day, it was very rainy. I was freaking out for Emma, ha ha! But, Emma took it so chilax! She was like, as long as I get married, I’m happy. What an outlook to have on life. Thankfully she and Andre were getting married at great venues with outdoor options. Don’t get me wrong, we were freezing but everyone was such troopers on their wedding day! We managed to hang out under a large bridge and in doorway overhangs. Huge thanks to the awesome groomsmen who held umbrella’s over my head quite a bit that day!
With Andre being in the service they were able to have their wedding at the historic Fort Snelling Chapel. It’s was such a touching ceremony and we made great use of their gorgeous entryway for photos. I’m so in love with how the photos turned out! Emma had impeccable taste when it came to her colors and floral arrangements. She even purchased a coordinating Mrs. Box for her ring, it was to die for!
The Minnesota boat club was a gorgeous, intimate venue for a wedding reception. The dark rustic wood went perfectly with the burgundy and rose gold color palate. Most of all, there was lots of Love, friends and family to celebrate with!
