I’m a city girl at heart. Don’t get me wrong I love to take photos in an open field too, but the beautiful urban brick buildings and bright colors of the city of Minneapolis just get me so excited! I had a great time in Loring Park last night taking family photos of two awesome clients of mine. This was the kick off to my fall mini session Wednesdays! I usually do mini sessions on the weekends, but this year with a crazy wedding schedule, I decided to give the weeknights a try. I also decided to lengthen the mini sessions from 20 minutes to 45 minutes and I have to say I loved it! It was a nice change of pace, and we captured some really gorgeous images. It gave me time to play around with the kids more and feel not as rushed. I also decided to only do 2 sessions per wednesday so we get the best of the best evening sunlight. I like to refer to it as the “yummy” light! I loved the bright colorful outfits both families chose for their pictures. They paired perfectly with the urban alley of Cafe Lurcat and the sunlight streaming through the dandy lion looking water fountain.
